Borussia Dortmund schemer Mario Goetze is a summer target for Manchester City and Arsenal, according to German sports magazine

Manchester City are reportedly prepared to meet the German international's €40million release clause with the Gunners also interested - although they are unlikely to be able to compete with the Blues in the financial stakes.
Goetze's
performances against City in the group stages of the Champions League
have attracted the attention of sporting director Txiki Begiristain who
is understood to have met with the player's representatives.
Arsene Wenger has been a long-term admirer of player in his search to replace Cesc Fabregas as the creative force in his team.
Manchester
United have also been linked with Goetze in the past but appear to have
made Atletico Madrid's £50million-rated striker Radamel Falcao their top priority.
Goetze
is under contract until 2016 but would be allowed to leave in June 2013
if his realease clause is met. Neither the player nor his advisers were
available to speak to
Kicker on Wednesday.
