The Portuguese winger claimed in the wake of his side's 3-0 victory over Granada that he was dissatisfied due to a professional issue.
The Spain international says that his teammate has the full support of the Real Madrid squad as they try to retain their Liga title this season, and also backed the 27-year-old to win the Ballon d'Or.
"We have offered to help [Ronaldo] whatever he needs," Arbeloa told reporters. "Cristiano is quiet and with the same smile as always. He is concerned about what is really important: to win with Real Madrid. Now, the Santiago Bernabeu will applaud Ronaldo more than before.
"Iker, Xabi and Sergio Ramos could also win [the Balon d'Or], but Cristiano deserves it."
Meanwhile, los Blancos midfielder Xabi Alonso has revealed that the former Manchester United star did not meet with club hierarchy upon his return to the Spanish capital after the international break.
"There was no meeting [between] staff on Cristiano’s arrival yesterday," he admitted. "We all have to normalize the Ronaldo situation. The important thing is to think about the match against Sevilla [on Saturday]."
