Chicharito denies goal celebration was aimed at rival fans
The striker scored his 26th goal for Mexico in just 41 games, inching him closer to Jared Borgetti's mark of 46 with El Tri.

Javier Hernandez snapped a three-month scoreless streak with the Mexican national team on Tuesday, heading home the game's only goal in El Tri's victory over Costa Rica at the Estadio Azteca.
The Manchester United striker had last been on target for the North American giant in its June 3 friendly against Brazil, when Hernandez made it 2-0 in Cowboys Stadium.
"We got the result, thankfully," Hernandez told ESPN after the match. "We worked very hard and we didn't go crazy searching for the goal up front. I'm glad I scored. Thank God we won and we're through to the Hexagonal."
Mexico is now officially qualified into the final Hex, which begins in February of 2013. Hernandez will apparently be saved from the long layoff, as manager Jose Manuel de la Torre told media members he would call a full squad for the remaining two matches in the current group stage.
"We need to be even-tempered about this. We can't start thinking we're the best. But also, we can't believe that we're the worst had we not scored tonight," he joked.
After scoring off a Jorge Torres Nilo cross, Hernandez faced the fans behind the Costa Rica goal and pointed to his ear, and later his head. Many interpreted the gesture as being directed at the Central American supporters who made the trip. Hernandez denied it.
"No, it had no meaning. Everything is calm over here," Hernandez said with a smile.
